Adoption Fees Waived at Montgomery County Animal Shelter

Due to overcrowding and lack of staffing, 60 cats and dogs from the Montgomery County Animal Shelter were flown to Connecticut last week. To help with the continued problem, adoption fees will be waived through May 15th for an "Empty the Shelter" event. The shelter director is encouraging those who are not in a position to adopt to reach out for volunteer opportunities or consider donating to the shelter. The Montgomery County Animal Shelter is located at 8535 TX 242 Conroe, TX 77385.
